An engineering team for the whole power system

Green Automatica & Energy Smart Systems helps factories, commercial buildings and institutions across Africa get reliable power, lower energy costs and safer, better-controlled operations.

Most sites deal with separate contractors for solar, wiring, controls and machines, and problems fall between them. We bring automation, energy, solar, electrical and machine skills into one team, so a single engineer can follow a problem from the supply to the machine.

Founded in 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya, by Brian Omondi, our Founder and CEO, Green Automatica set out to help African factories cut energy costs and run on clean power.

Why we exist

Our vision & mission

The problem

Remote factories can't get reliable, clean power

Factories in remote and off-grid areas struggle to get reliable green energy for their daily manufacturing, processing and value addition. Most still depend on diesel, with some solar on the side, and that mix does not solve the problem.

  • Costly, unsustainable fuel. Diesel prices keep rising, supply is uncertain, and every litre burned adds emissions.

  • Solar that falls short. Partial solar systems cannot carry the full production load, so the generator keeps running.

  • Wasted energy. Much of the solar energy produced goes unused because it is not stored or matched to when the machines need it.

Our solution

A smart system that runs your factory on solar alone

We are building an energy-efficient smart system that lets factories run entirely on solar energy, with no reliance on fossil fuels.

  • Solar and storage sized for production. Solar and battery capacity designed around your real loads and shifts, so power is there whenever the machines run.

  • Smart energy management. Controls that match loads to the sun, store the surplus and make sure every kilowatt-hour generated is used.

  • Efficient machines first. Variable-speed drives, power-factor correction and automation cut the energy each process needs, so the solar system can be smaller.

Lowering the upfront cost. We know the initial investment is the biggest hurdle. Cutting waste first keeps the system as small as possible, and it can be built in stages, so fuel savings help fund each next step.

Our vision

An Africa where every factory, however remote, runs fully on clean, affordable solar energy.

Our mission

To free remote and off-grid factories from fossil fuels by designing, installing and maintaining energy-efficient smart solar systems that power production reliably, put every unit of energy to work and cost less to run than diesel.

Our core values

  • Integrity

We give honest advice and keep our word, on site and on paper.

  • Safety first

No job is so urgent that it cannot be done safely.

  • Excellence

We engineer, test and document every system to a high standard.

  • Sustainability

Every solution should save energy and last for years.

  • Innovation

We use proven new technology where it truly helps the client.

  • Partnership

We stay with our clients long after handover.

How we work

  • Measure before we recommend

Proposals are based on load data, site surveys and your bills, not assumptions.

  • Safety is not negotiable

Work is carried out by licensed technicians under documented safe methods.

  • You own the documentation

Drawings, programs, test results and manuals are handed over at the end of every job.

  • Claims you can check

We publish results only when they are measured and the client has agreed.
