Thermographic inspection
A thermal camera shows hot spots in panels, switchgear and connections that the eye cannot see. Loose or overloaded connections heat up long before they fail or start a fire.
What the work includes
- Infrared survey of panels, switchgear and busbars under load
- Thermal images with temperature readings
- Severity rating for each hot spot
- Recommended corrective action
- Follow-up scan after repairs
When to call us
- As part of annual preventive maintenance
- Before peak production periods
- Breakers trip or panels smell of burning
- After major load changes
Common questions
Do panels need to be switched off?
No. Thermography is done with equipment running under normal load, following safe working procedures.
How often should we scan?
Annually is common for critical equipment, more often where faults have been found.
