- Hand over properly. You receive the final, commented program, HMI project, drive parameter files, I/O list and drawings, plus training for your technicians.
Practical tips from our engineers
Size and set overloads to the motor
Many burnt motors had overload relays set too high or wrongly sized. We set every relay to the motor's full-load current and test the trip.
Consider a drive instead of star-delta
On pumps and fans, a VFD gives a soft start, reduces water hammer and cuts energy use compared with a star-delta starter.
