Invertek Optidrive programming and configuration in Kenya: E3, P2 and Eco
Commissioning and configuring Invertek Optidrive E3, P2 and Eco drives for machines, pumps and HVAC, with OptiTools Studio.
Invertek Optidrives are compact, easy to install and common on HVAC, pump and machine applications. We commission and configure Optidrive E3, P2 and Eco drives, and link them to PLCs and building management systems.
Invertek Drives equipment we program and configure
| Equipment | Product families | Software we use |
|---|---|---|
| VFDs | Optidrive E3, Optidrive P2, Optidrive Eco | OptiTools Studio, keypad |
Networks and protocols: Modbus RTU and Optibus built in, with options for BACnet, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP on selected models.
What we do on Invertek Drives systems
- Drive commissioning: motor data, ramps, limits and protections
- HVAC fan and pump set-ups with PID and fire mode where required
- Multi-pump control and PLC or BMS integration
- Parameter backup and drive replacement
How we work on your Invertek Drives system
- Back up first. Before we touch anything, we upload and save the existing program, HMI project and drive parameters, so the machine can always be returned to how it was.
- Understand the process. We walk the machine with your operators and maintenance team, and agree in writing what the change or new program must do.
- Program and test offline. Logic, screens and drive settings are prepared and checked before site work, to keep downtime short.
- Commission on site. We test every input, output, interlock and alarm with your team, then run the machine under real load.
- Hand over properly. You receive the final, commented program, HMI project, drive parameter files, I/O list and drawings, plus training for your technicians.
Practical tips from our engineers
Use OptiTools Studio for every drive
Saving each drive's parameters in OptiTools Studio gives a record of the setup and makes replacement quick.
Set fire mode correctly on smoke-extract fans
On ventilation systems, fire mode keeps the fan running during an emergency. It must be set up and tested together with the fire alarm system.
